Congratulations to the Radnor boys’ lacrosse team—2023 PIAA 3A champions!
The decisive 8-1 victory over Springfield (DelCo) took place at Penn State’s Panzer Stadium on Saturday, June 17. This was Radnor’s third state championship in a row having won in 2021 and 2022. Our stickmen also won the crown in 2015.
It was a banner year for seven lacrosse players who also played on the record-breaking varsity basketball team: Seniors Jackson Gaffney, Cooper Mueller, Danny Rosenblum, and Matt Wolfington; and Juniors Kessy Cox, Henry Pierce, and Michael Savadove.
The state lacrosse championships began in 2009. Radnor has won more times than any other school.
